Dr. Abigail Aiyepola has Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Certificate of Midwifery. She has experience with clinical practice, higher education, and accreditation. She is the Board Chair of The National Association to Advance Black Birth (NAABB), formerly known as ICTC, and proud owner of Omolayo,™ a virtual platform dedicated to educating and empowering women about their bodies and health.
Dr. Courtney Everson
Dr. Courtney Everson has a doctorate in Medical Anthropology with a long track record of community engagement, research, and leadership in health and human services, non-profit management, and higher education. She is currently a researcher with Colorado State University in the School of Social Work. She has extensive national board experience in addition to being recognized for her excellence in teaching, research, service and health equity.
Indra Lusero, Esq.
Indra Lusero, Esq. is a Staff Attorney with National Advocates for Pregnant Women, and founder of Elephant Circle and the Birth Rights Bar Association. Indra brings an interdisciplinary approach to their social change work informed by their background in theatre, reproductive justice, design thinking, innovation and the law, and has been instrumental in national efforts to advance equity in midwifery.
Dr. Safiya McCarter
Dr. Safiya McCarter has a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist. She has been an administrator and educator in higher education, and was Co-Director of the Daniel K. Church Center for Social Justice and Diversity at Bastyr University. Dr. McCarter currently serves on the boards of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the Midwifery Education Accreditation Council (MEAC) and the Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health (ACIH).
